Journal Approval Template modification

Hi team 

We have a requirement to automatically reject journals which do not have any supporting evidence attach to the journal batch . We have handled this using BPM attachment attribute 

However , we want to modify the approval notification and include reason for Rejection in the notification mail body   . How can we add a condition for rejection of Journal approval since attachment was missing . Did not see any attribute in the sample XML for the data model 

Any ideas
