Setting up the application timezone
Summary
Setting up the HCM cloud application timezone to the customer's timezoneContent
Hi,
At my current client there is an ask where the customer wants to view the timestamp on the workflow notifications, however the FND_TIMEZONE is set to the Coordinated Universal Timezone as site level. We tried to set the values at user-level to EST time zone, however the workflows still do not carry the timestamp in user's timezone.
Can you please suggest is it advisable to change the FND_TIMEZONE to EST timezone at the site level, will there be any adverse impact of it in long-or-short term, with respect to the reports, extracts, BI, OTBI and/or workflows or any other aspect of the transaction and maintenance of the application over-all.
