Summary

Accessing element entry in an accrual matrix formula

Content

Let 's assume that business scenario is employees can either buy or sell vacation hours. The request is either raised from benefits or is a raised by employee using Individual Compensation plan(ICP). Upon successful approval of the request, the absence balance of the accrual plan "Vacation Hours" needs to either increase or reduce by the amount of vacation bought or sold.

To address the above business scenario, one would need an element say "Vacation Hours Buy" and "Vacation Hours Sell". The accrual matrix formula associated with the Vacation plan would access the above element entries and either increase or reduce the Vacation Hours.
