Negotiations - Working with Download Contract Terms in Word

Summary

Is there a way to highlight or search for Variables in a Word xml file

Company requirements for Negotiation Contract Terms contains very large clauses and using the Download Contract Terms to Word process for clause edits. Have not been able to determine a method for locating all of the Variables within the document to inspect and modify inside Word. Word 'Find' cannot locate by Variable name and no obvious way to highlight these fields.

Any suggestions?
