GDPR - Delete Customer Account/Party Record

Working on a University Client.

We are aiming to create a student party record and AR account when they pay their deposit.

However not all students then come to the university and with GDPR regulations should then be removed from the system.

Is there any process or functionality to do this, whether delete party record or somehow scramble the data so that the person can not be recognised anymore.  Aware we can inactivate the account etc but thats not enough to be compliant.

Have checked mos and the GDPR whitepaper and cant see anything of help there.
