In that case, is there a way to change the namespace name? Currently, in my account namespace name is same as tenancy name.

namespace is uneditable. So you cannot change.

The namespace is a unique and uneditable system-generated string assigned during account creation and applies to all regions. For some older tenancies, the namespace string might be the tenancy name in all lower-case letters.

Technically the root compartment does not have a name, it is just called root compartment. The Root Compartment OCID is the same as the Tenancy OCID.
