    Is the concept of Regions & Availability Domains only for bare metal cloud services?

    I have a trial subscription with access to the Oracle Compute Cloud Service under IaaS. I don't see any provision to select Availability Domains. I see a datacenter and it uses the concept of site (which I understand).

    Does the datacenter here refer to a region?
