Oracle recommendation: Prepare for migration to standard HCM solution for approvals in Career Develo

Summary

Standard HCM framework for approvals in release 19D for responsive version of the product

Content

If you are using approval features in Career Development, you should prepare for migration to the standard HCM framework for approvals in release 19D.  This concerns customers who already migrated to responsive version of the product or are planning to do so in 19D.  There are two aspects of the change: configuration of approvals and user experience for end-users. We have replaced the profile options-based configuration with a standard and more flexible configuration that is based on BPM rules. Many customers have been waiting for this feature that allows them to implement their own rules.  We provided sample code for configuration of existing logic as well as for custom scenarios. We have enhanced the user-experience to be consistent with the standard behavior found in Core HR applications.

Howdy, Stranger!
