User with new account using previous account's POV


I have a user whose email address changed, so her original account was deleted, and a new account was created for her.  She has been trying to run reports, but they use the same POV, no matter what is entered in the POV selection window.  It's trying to use a shared member from a hierarchy that no longer exists, so none of the reports open.  I went to the Document Repository under Migration, and navigated to HRInternalFolder -> UserPOV.  The only records for this user are associated with the old account.  Through a cache, could it be using the POV
