What is the purpose of the field 'Line of Progression' under Manager Job >> United States Legislative Information.

It's a free form field.

Could not find any documentation regd this either on Application Help or docs.oracle.com or any forum.

There is already a Progression Job field as part of Manage Job, so wondering what the Line of Progression field is intended for .
