Off-cycle salary updates - manage timing of information released to employees

Is there any functionality in Oracle HR to "hide" the approved salary changes from ESS view of the employee till the manager has communicated with the employee first. Something like a release salary details button which the manager can click to allow view access to the employees once comms have been completed.

Sometimes, it is difficult for managers to communicate to the entire population of the salary change in 1 go and as soon as salary changes complete the approval workflow, they are visible to the employees even if the manager has not had a chance to communicate the changes to the employees
