Course is not active immediately after approval

Hi,

when creating a course under access groups I have defined  Initial Enrollment Status as Requested under Learner Self-Service Settings and workflow was created, when employee login and request course it is routing for Manager approval but once the manager approves the learner should start the course but unfortunately this is not happening it still says course requested. 

Please let us know if anyone faced similar issue
