Updating Salary Basis using Mass Update

Hello,
We would like to use Mass Update to update the Salary Basis. I've opened an SR and the Oracle Analyst has said that we can't add this field to the Mass Update screen, but we read somewhere that it was possible to add fields to this screen and use them as a part of Mass Update. Does anyone know if that's possible, and if yes, how to do it?
