Competencies are not defaulting from Position model profile to person profile(Skills and Qualifications page) for custom content types.

Competencies are not defaulting from Position model profile to person profile(Skills and Qualifications page) for custom content types.
We associated the position in the model profile and hired new employee and added the position to the employee but competencies are not defaulting from model profile

Please suggest any option that we have to default the competencies or share any document related to this.
