We’re looking for help and best practice on the creation of customer accounts when OCC is integrated to Oracle eBusiness Suite. We would like to have guest checkout available in OCC but with the option of creating an account at checkout at any time. How do we avoid duplicate customer creation in EBS? Is there a recognised method of de-duplication? How do we create the customer record in Oracle EBS for a guest checkout so that, upon registration, the OCC user is recognised as an existing account in EBS?
