Problem with scheduling OTBI reports - error messages

I've set up loads of scheduled OTBI reports in the last few months. Although they are still coming through by email when they should, if I try to set up any new ones, or amend existing ones, I get this, below:

The following error occurred: Oracle BI Scheduler Error: [nQSError: 12017] Unexpected socket read timeout: connection terminated by network, e.g. by the firewall. [nQSError: 12008] Unable to connect to port 11442 on machine fa-ha1.oracleoutsourcing.com.

Although existing ones are coming through fine, if I press the "Run" button to do an adhoc run, I get this,

Oracle BI Scheduler Error: The Scheduler client connection was closed.
