US Payroll Quarterly Extract Issue for a Global Transfered Employee

edited Sep 5, 2020 12:33AM in Payroll and Global Payroll Interface (GPI) 3 comments

Summary

Incorrect National Identifier picked up in US Payroll Quarterly Extract

Content

WE have an employee who transferred from US to UK in 4th quarter. His National ID was updated to UK NID and made primary in HR. He has the SSN still valid in HR  but not primary now.

But Q4 Quarterly extract in US Payroll is picking up the UK NID now and is appearing in the W2s as well.

Thought the US Payroll should pick the SSN even though it is not primary based on the Legislation.

Please advise if anyone else is facing similar issue and advise possible options.
