Talent Profile Error "Too Many Matching Records"

Receiving an error only on the degrees content section within talent profile and on manage profile types

When trying to add information to the degrees section of Skills & Qualifications as an employee or admin AND when editing the degrees content section in "Manage Profile Types" we are receiving an error stating "Too many matching records found. Specify additional criteria and try again". You can then click "okay" and continue but we also cannot search majors past the letter E. I've seen similar posts with this question but no answers. Has anyone successfully stopped this error from popping up?
