How to confirm if a goal was deleted?

Summary

How to confirm if a goal was deleted?

Content

Every year we get reports from a few employees who claim their goals have "disappeared".  The data in HRG_GOALS only shows what currently exists.  Is there an audit function that can turned on somehow that would allow us to see a full history of what has happened to an employee's goals, especially if a goal has been deleted?  Or is there a separate table that already exists that shows that information?  I don't want to not believe what the employees are saying, but given so few report this and I fail to believe that goals truly just disappear on their own, it would be nice
