Rapid Implementation Spreadsheet for General Ledger- will it overwrite existing Legal Entities

Implementing FIN in an environment with existing HCM, will Rapid Implementation spreadsheet for GL overwrite the Legal Entities that HCM has setup?

We are implementing Financials in an environment with an existing HCM setup. HCM has some, but not all, companies setup as Legal Entities. Does anyone know if using the Rapid Implementation spreadsheet to create the COA (the Companies and Legal Entities tab must be populated) will overwrite the existing Legal Entities that HCM has created?

If so, any suggestions on best method on how to create the COA? FDBI Segment Values and Hierarchies Interface?
