Enterable Per Pay Period Amount for Spending Accounts

edited Sep 5, 2020 12:33AM in Payroll and Global Payroll Interface (GPI) 1 comment

Summary

What solutions have you used to allow for enterable per-pay-period amounts for spending account type plans (FSA, HSA, etc)?

Content

Currently; I've found the best way with seeded configuration to configure spending accounts is to have an enterable coverage amount and set the rate to Set Annual Amount Equal to Coverage. Then use the configuration on the Annual Rates tab so mid-year changes are handeled correctly.

Has anyone had success with configuring so employees could enter a per-pay-period amount and other downstream items still function correctly (maximums, etc)?

Thank you, I appreciate anyone's feedback!
