Workforce Compensation - Notifications - When to use BPM/Bell OR the Approvals screen?
We are working through the process we should follow when a line manager submits their worksheet, a notification is sent via BPM to the line manager with approve/reject items. We ignored the notification and went to the approvals area (which also has an approve function). We sent the worksheet back for correction.
The notification remains and did not disappear. Now when clicking approve/reject the error appears below.
The workflow is now stuck in 'limbo' as the situation has changed an no longer valid.
Has anyone else got in this pickle before?
Do you send notifications?
If so, what happens if managers approve or return for corrections without approving or rejecting the workflow first?
