How to stop Repeat and start Suppress again

I have a report with some columns. The value suppression for the first few columns (A, B, C) is set up as Suppress. A few columns (D, E, F) next to these columns are set up as Repeat. I'd like to switch the format back to Suppress for the next few columns (G, H, I) but it doesn't work.  Please see the attachment for an example. I'd like to have the highlighted column to be suppress.  Could someone help? I'm using OBIEE 11g.
