Summary

Restricting display of absence type only for few employees

Content

Hello All

We have a requirement as below-

For a employee population of 2000 people, there are 2 FMLA administrators.

While all the employee population is eligible for FMLA absences, they cannot apply it on their own, they are expected to send an email to the FMLA admin, who in turn applies the absence on behalf of the employee.

So the requirement here is that --

the FMLA absence type should not be visible for any employee ( this can be restricted by disabling "Enable Employee Updates" in absence type

Also, only the 2 FMLA admin should be able to view the FMLA absence type when they are applying on behalf of the employees. While only these 2 Admins should be able to see the absence type, they should be able to apply the absence for all the employees. So the option of restricting the absence type by eligibility will not work as we want all employees to be eligible for the plan ( Refer to the attached document where we have tried to restrict the absence type by eligibility formula and it does not work)

Howdy, Stranger!
