Dependent designation at plan level instead of option level

edited Sep 5, 2020 12:10AM in Benefits 6 comments

Summary

Required to designate dependent at plan level not option level

Content

We have around 10 (common) options for each plan.

Requirement: dependent designation is common for all options. e.g if employee designate spouse  and child, it is true for all 10 options.

During enrollment, employee needs to manually select (designate) same set of dependents for each 10 options, which is re-work and time consuming for the user. Is there a way to designate dependents at plan level (as dependent designation is common for each option)?
