Skill Based Pay with Multiple Rates of Pay

We are looking to roll out a "you do you get" skill based pay model for some of our field employees. In order to do this the way it is proposed, we would technically need 2-3 different rates of pay. For example, we'd need their base hourly rate, their skill pay rate, and if those two combined are less than their current annual salary, then a grandfathered rate in addition.
