Dashboard Prompt using BI Publisher/DataModel

Using a prompt on a dashboard for a BI Report

Content

I have placed a BI Publisher report on a dashboard. This report is built from a data model that contains a parameter. When I run the report manually, it runs fine, but when i run the report through the dashboard, the parameter does not appear and I get an error message.  When the report runs on the dashboard, it opens quickly to a blank page (for one second) then i get the error message. Is there a way to add a prompt to the dashboard when the dashboard report is using a data model?
