Use of "View Object" in HSDL

Summary

Function of "'View Object" in HSDL

Content

Hi All,

I am exploring HSDL on how to derive a certain input value to another field/column to make the HSDL more user friendly for the users when making transaction.

e.g HSDL for Change Location Transaction.

"Assignment ID" and "Work Terms Assignment ID" are required from Employment Terms and Assignment component to update the location.

I want the user to input a field like Assignment Number and the "View Object" will use the Assignment Number provided by user to automatically pull the "Assignment ID" and "Work Terms Assignment ID" needed to update the location.

Howdy, Stranger!
