Not able to hide Share section from the Compensation page

Content

As we are not using Shares in Compensation module, we want to hide this Share section.
Navigation:
Login by Manager > Team Compensation > Click on employee name > Compensation page will show share tab

We tried hiding this section using personalization but 'properties of Share' field is disabled. Need advice.
