Competency List only shows 25 values

Hello,
We are having an issue with the competency drop down within our performance document. It is only showing the first 25 values out of the total 38 competencies we have set up in the system. If you know the name of your competency you can search for it and it works, but this will not work for us. We need to be able to view all of the available competencies to pick from. Previously we could display all of the needed values using the advanced search function on the page, but that is no longer available with the new search
