Purge of GL historical data

Will the purge functionnality be implemented in GL Cloud ? Do you think it is relevant ?

Hello

I had several customers on Oracle E-Business Suite who are using the GL purge, due to some huge volume of data. They are often dealing with several instances to manage GL data per period (one or several years), to avoid overloading on the main Prod instance.

In the context of thinking about the future solution, they are asking how this point is managed in ERP Cloud ?

As far as I have read some documentation, I understand that this feature is not developped yet (eg Data Archive And Purging Solution In Fusion (Doc ID 2441910.1))
