Automated Invoice Processing / Scanning does not support inbound MS Outlook emails
Summary
Oracle have told us we can't send emails from Outlook as MS mailers are not supportedContent
We have had an open issue with Oracle for about 6 months now where Invoice emails from outlook are not being received by the webcenter.
Oracle have said that this is because Automated Invoice Processing / Scanning does not support emails from outlook as they are .dat files.
They are telling us that we have to use a different email client ( they used example of thunderbird ).
Is this really the case that Microsoft email clients are not supported for invoice scanning or are we being fobbed off ?
