Is it possible to reuse an awarded Negotiation after Cancelling a PO?

edited Mar 2, 2020 9:42PM in Sourcing 5 comments

Summary

Negotiation reuse after cancelling a purchase order associated with it

Content

Purchasing department personnel generally ask about the possibility of reusing an already awarded negotiation after cancelling the PO (in Open status) associated to it that was created with certain mistakes.

As they express, as soon as they cancel the PO, the negotiation status remains as 'Completed, purchasing document created' and if it was created from an purchase requisition, then REQ lines formerly associated to the negotiation and the PO are cancelled and replaced by a new REQ line. This new REQ line is available at the Process Requisitions tray so that the buyer can use it to create a new document such as a Purchase Order or a new negotiation.

Howdy, Stranger!
