Approval flow for element entries updated manually

Hi.

I was wondering if there's a way to configure an approval workflow for element entry update when it's done manually.
I was browsing the list of processes of which the system allows to manage an approval process on: setup and maintenance >> manage approval transaction for human capital resources and haven't found anything related to it.
