Change Dependent Coverage Code
Summary
Change Dependent Coverage CodeContent
Under dependent designation, the codes for Change Dependent Coverage has values of 'Can add dependents', 'Can Remove Dependents' etc. (see snippet)
These codes work to compare the current v/s the new enrollment the first time enrollment is made. Once the enrollment is submitted, it checks new enrollments made under the new life event with the enrollments being made on the page if the LE is still open and the employee has the ability make changes/corrections to the enrollments. If the employee made an error or changes his mind, then the only way out is to have the benefit admin back out and re-process the life event.
