how Utilization Rate per Day is calculated for asset having meter

I've defined a meter and it is having some past meter Reading but unable to understand how utilization rate per day is calculated

Hi,

I've defined a meter for an Asset having following details.

1. Meter Name: QNCA366_KM_MTR

2. Meter start date: 01-Jan-2020

3. UoM: Kilometer

4. Reading Type: Absolute

5. Initial meter reading: 5000

6. Base utilization rate per day: 250

7. Number of Readings for calculating a  Utilization rate: 3

8. Allow meter to schedule a maintenance program: Yes

9. Meter readings entered: 10-Jan-2020: 8000, 15-Jan-2020: 9200, 20-Jan-2020: 10500

Expectation: As we have setup Number of readings for calculating a utilization rate as 3 for this meter, I'm expecting it will recalculate the utilization rate per day. New utilization rate per day would be ((Meter Reading on 20-Jan-2020)-(Meter Reading on 01-Jan-2020))/(Number of days between 20-Jan-2020 to 01-Jan-2020). i.e. (10500-5000)/19=289. 47
