Element Entry and ICP Validation
Summary
Element entry validation Value doubles when there is combination of While Loop and If ConditionContent
Hi,
When there is a requirement to validate non-recurring element entry based on the same element's entry throughout the year in ICP and in element entry screen , the only way to validate is through element input validation formula by using while (for checking existing entries) and IF (for checking the eligbility)
When we use this combination the system starts doubling the value
Eg: When an employee requests for reimbursement, check all the reimbursements in the current year and validate if the current entry along with the total year value is within his eligibility limit
