Recently OIC mappers are having a by default Element named Self. This tag is very helpful to get teh information about the integartion and can be easily used in logging, error handling and Auditing the information about integrations.

The self tag has information about

1) name, version and identifier of the integration

2)Service Instance id and URL of the Environmnet

3)Instance id and invoked by tags 

 

This is very important information used for logging and error handling that can be retrieved easily now.
