How do you display req status to a candidate: filled vs cancelled vs on hold?

On your external website under "My Jobpage" how do you indicate to the candidate that a position has been put on hold vs cancelled vs filled?  You can map the candidate CSW status to particular verbiage that they can see.  However the 'Job Status' option only lets you have verbiage for inactive or active jobs.  Inactive includes jobs that are filled, cancelled, or on hold.  We would like our candidates to be able to see if the job they applied to was cancelled, filled, or on hold.  Have you come up with any creative ways to accomplish this?  This has
