Employee's Deleting Contact that is tied to a Benefits Plan

Hello,

We've begun having issues with employee's deleting contacts that are tied to their benefits plan. Our benefits team, remembers there being an error when someone tried to delete someone tied to a benefit. Does anyone if something is changed or how to restrict that?

One option we've explored is to just remove the delete function, but we would rather not do that if possible.
