Adding security to position report to limit results

Limiting the results of a position report according to the logged in userContent
We have put position hierarchies in place so each position now has a parent position. I have now created a standard report in OTBI using the Position Real Time subject area.
I want to limit the results so that the logged in user only sees their world i.e. show all positions reporting upto the user's position, whether there is an incumbent matched or not.
This would be similar to what Assignment Manager (Secured) does in other subject areas in that it limits the results to direct and indirect reports. Is it possible to replicate this behaviour with a position report?
