Preserve chat on refresh

hi all,

The chat landing page /app/chat/chat_landing displays a message saying 'You are currently number N is the queue' when waiting. If the page is refreshed  again, a new request is created and put at the end of the queue.

Also, when an active chat is on, new request is created when page is refreshed.

Is there a way to persists the previous chat session on page refresh without losing?
