ADFDi/FBDI - ability to support multiple distributions per invoice line or workarounds?

Do ADFDi/FBDI support multiple distributions per invoice line? If not,what are the workarounds to quickly enter this information onto the invoice line

When using ADFDI or FBDI, it appears that invoice lines can only have one distribution or can leverage a distribution set.  Are there ways to include more than one distribution per invoice line when leveraging these approaches, outside of a distribution set?  Distribution sets may help in some instances, but the variety of distributions aren't always known in advance in order to have distribution sets created.

What are others using or recommend?
