What is the use of Date Earned in Element Entry Page

Hi Experts,

I have created two Element Entries (Non Recurring Element with Multiple Entries allowed) to an employee.

When I am checking the Element Entry Page, Date Earned column is showing the Date(Wrong) for one entry not for another entry.

Could any one let me know why Date Earned is showing for only one entry and on what basis Date Earned is showing.

I have observed that Date Earned Column is showing blank for element entries of other elements.
