How does your company handle 'no shows' - Cancel Work Relationship vs Terminate?

Hello,

A question are process, data retention / reporting and digital footprint of data / GDPR.

I'm sure it happens in many companies where a candidate is due to join a business and is added to the HR system but either on the day or as close to the day the candidate declines/doesn't turn up and is classed as a 'no show'. Technically they are a candidate who has voluntary withdrawn their application and certainly not an employee who has worked for the business.

With the HCM cloud record set-up, I'm keen to hear how companies handle this process, do you cancel their work relationship or process as a leaver with a certain 'reason for leaving'?

Howdy, Stranger!
