How to Convert Load and Transfer Batch to HDL Using Web Services

Content

We are loading time card records from Kronos into Oracle using a SOAP API call to the "Load and Transfer Batch" flow pattern.  I am unclear if "Load and Transfer Batch" is based on PBL or HDL.  Therefore, I don't know if it is part of the PBL Decommission or not.

I've been reading the Integrating with HCM manual (20B version) and it has me really confused.

  • Chapter 15 (Loading Payroll Transactional Data) shows an example of loading time card entries in PayrollTimeCard.dat.  This looks like an HDL file I'm used to seeing.

Howdy, Stranger!
