As part of Oracle Security Policies, Taleo Learn will disable lower-level security protocols like Cipher Block Chaining (CBC) which have a lower encryption rate. CBC encryption support will be removed in the following phases:

Phase 1:  Staging - June 5, 2020

Phase 2:  Production - June 19, 2020

What is CBC encryption protocol?

Encryption is the method by which information is converted into code that hides the information's true meaning. Cipher Block Chaining (CBC) is a mode of operation for a block cipher, in which a sequence of bits are encrypted as a single unit or block with a cipher key applied to the entire block.
