Benefits: Trigger Life Events through HSDL

Hi Team,

We have created a Custom HCM Spreadsheet data loader (HSDL) to mass update the Salary for Employees. This has been working pretty well except the fact that it doesn’t trigger a life event in Benefits.

Also, we have a ‘Salary Change’ life event with trigger on table and column “CMP_SALARY.DATE_FROM”. Is there a way to trigger a life event when the salary is updated through this custom HCM Spreadsheet Data Loader (HSDL) ?

FYI: Currently, the ‘Salary change’ life event triggers when the salary is updated manually. Also, the ENABLE_INCREMENTAL_LOAD_EVENTS can be set to “Y” to trigger life events if the salary was updated through a HDL load. We are looking for a way to trigger life events when data is changed ONLY through HSDL.
