Error message when trying to change salary

Hi,

When I try to change salary(existing record) to employee(action: compensation --> change salary)  I get this message:

 
Salary element entry couldn't be created. (CMP-1005343)
Reason for this error: ORA-20001: You must submit an entry value for input value Salary-Annually[USD]. Details: This input value is defined as required and has no value defaulted at payroll run time. ORA-06512: at "FUSION.PAY_SALARY_INTERFACE", line 1254 ORA-06512: at line 1 .

I have checked the relevant element and could not find anything wrong.

I would appreciate your help.
