Customizing Elements for Employee Assignments Only

Our Company is hoping to make the customization to hide the assignment types from selection when adding element entries to an employee. We currently only have the need to add elements to assignments of Employees, and do not need to add elements to Offered Candidates, or Pending Workers. We would like to remove those two options highlighted in the below image from the user view, but my research suggests this might not be possible since the customization of element entry eligibility is not specific to the point of the type of assignments (e.g., employee, candidate with offer, pending worker, non
